I didn’t do my homework before purchasing a Klipsch Flexus Core setup. After setting it up, I tried to add it to the MyHarmony software. However I found there was no result for any of the Flexus core products. When I tried to manually program the remote codes, I found that the remote is not IR but Bluetooth!
However, there are 4 steps to get a Flexus core setup working with a Harmony remote:
- Enable IR on the soundbar by setting it to Installer modeFrom the following page:

Press the Vol + button on the remote to toggle through all operating modes –Consumer Mode (CONSUMER)→ Display Mode (DISPLAY)→ Retail Mode (RETAIL)→ Installer Mode (INSTALLER)→
Long Press Bass (>1 seconds) to confirm selection.
- In the MyHarmony software, add a Klipsch Cinema 400
- Change your Activity settings to use the “Klipsch Amp” as your audio device
- Sync your hub and basic functionality should now be working!
